First, don’t panic. An inspection report is not a repair list. A good home inspector is supposed to be thorough, and 50 items on a report doesn’t necessarily mean there are 50 major problems with the house.

In this video, I explain how buyers should look at an inspection report, what types of issues deserve more attention and what your options may be after the inspection.

The goal isn’t to make an older house brand new. It’s to make sure you know what you’re buying.
